Fremont Lake Campground is located on the east shore of pristine Fremont Lake at an elevation of 7.4 ft, just 7 mi northeast of Pinedale, Wyoming, the nearest full-service community. Water sports and fishing are popular activities on the scenic lake.

Beautiful lake. Sites are nice but right on the loop road. Most have limited access to the lake itself but if you can get there, the lake is awesome. Caught plenty of smallish trout right from shore. Bathrooms are average. Road is tight getting in. If you have a large rig you may struggle getting around the bends and up and down the steep approach. Each site had picnic table and fire ring. Reasonable, but not great, separation between sites. There's not much for a few miles up the road so come in prepared with whatever you need.

Getting There
From U.S. 191/Pine Street in Pinedale, Wyoming, turn northeast onto Fremont Lake Road. Drive about 4 mi to a "T" junction and turn left. Go 0.2 mi, turn right at the "Y" junction and drive 3.5 mi to the campground.
Highway access
The campground is accessible from U.S. Highway 191, which is approximately 4 miles away in Pinedale, Wyoming.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Utilities
- This campground does not offer sewer, water, or electric hook-ups.
Vehicles & parking
- Each campsite allows a maximum of two vehicles, including RVs or trailers.
- All off-road vehicles need to be licensed to use this campground.
Wildlife & food storage
- Proper food storage is mandatory in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
Fires & fuel
- Do not transport firewood; purchase it locally to prevent pest spread.
Pets
- Pets must be leashed in developed areas of the campground.
