Our experience was great at the campground and it was clean except for a few days the bathroom at the boat dock was not cleaned, we were in site 38. Our hikes up at Elkhart Park were a great adventure. Photographer's Point was the best, that's a 5-mile+ hike one way. We were there during the 4th of July weekend and over into the following week.
Fishing was good and on some days, great.

Stunning scenery with the lake and Aspen and pine forest. Very large campground, we stayed site 43 in a 25 Ft Airstream. No electricity nor water, there is a dump in Pinedale $$.

Camp hosts were very informative and friendly. Very quiet campground considering it was Mountain Man Rendezvous was happening in Pinedale. Most sites are not easy for rigs and most are not level. We had a simple site with a beautiful lake view (on the road but quiet/ no tent space). Paddling our kayak on the lake was a treat. Lake traffic and noise was minimal. Loved Sacred Rim Hike from the end of Skyline road about 25 minutes from the camp site. Road was worth driving too.

Once again, we had a great experience at Fremont Lake! The group site is perfect for our large family and the access was just right for our disabled son.

Nice campground but our site didn’t have a good flat area to put the tent. Had a fox come into our site when we were setting up. Close to town.

Beautiful campsite next to Fremont Lake. We luckily secured site 27 for a stopover on our way to Yellowstone. The site is at the end of the campground which provides some of the best views of the lake. Lake was also easily accessible just downhill from the campsite. Good distance between sites too also make this an attractive choice.

Fremont Lake is a beautiful campground that is generally quiet and peaceful. We camped here in early June. The camp host was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were camping in site 46, it was easy to level our 32 ft 5the wheel and we had a beautiful view. The only issue was it was on the main straight away from the boat ramp and the day use area. It wasn’t the traffic itself, that is to be expected, it was the speed of the traffic. Some vehicles didn’t even slow down for the speed bumps. All in all it was a lovely stay and we enjoyed the surrounding areas, especially the town of Pinedale. We would camp there again.

Sites by the lake had great views. Struggled a bit to get level on sites outside what appeared to be a recently paved zone. Rig only 26 feet long. No real trails that we could easily access within campground. Good for a stopover before going north to the national parks.
