Beautiful campground and beach! Heads up there is water, but no way to hook up a hose to fill an RV.

We enjoyed our stay at Fremont Lake. In the online pictures I saw looking across the lake, it looked very barren. But the campground is in a more forested area with patches of shade. It's a nice location for doing Sacred Rim, Long Lake, and Photographer's Point trails. It is also only about 15min into Pinedale. The worst part for me was the mosquitoes. I kept completely covered, including a head net. I also wish generators were only allow in one portion of the campground so it wouldn't disturb the quiet of nature.

Nice campground, well maintained. We went the end of June until July 5. It was hot (no shade in our spot) and the mosquitos were thick as theifs unless there was a breeze. Our lab ended up with a skin infection from sand flea bites and we ended up with a $350 vet bill. We live in Colorado and have never had an experience like this. Fishing was great. If you have a dog keep an eye on it, use mosquito spray and make sure you have an easy up. Our vet said mosquito bites could have added to the dogs problem. Our dog showed no signs of a problem until day 7.
