We had another enjoyable experience this time. Not as many moose, but we did have a little bull walk right by our camper.

Amazing! The campground is very well maintained and has a separate area for grills and food prep. This is the first time I've seen this in all the sites I've stayed.in around the country and I think more sites should have this! We pulled in late and had to set up in the dark, but the site map in the parking area made our site very easy to find. When we woke up and throughout the morning there were moose right by our site. Of course, we stayed at a safe distance. It was a magical experience for our kids.

Very nice campground. Very clean and well kept. Pit toilets were kept very clean. The campground is next to the highway, so there is some road noise.

This was a lovely spot. I spent 2 hours watching two bull moose feed near the water's edge. From my campsite! the site is very, very clean - including the vault toilets. It is a little close to 16, but there are no cars at night so it wasn't bothersome. I will be back!

stayed in site 13 one night and site 20 one night. Wanted to stay in 20 because of all the good reviews. Actually site 13 was just as good. In front of site 20 it was kiind of busy, people walking down to the water with canoe, kayak. The bathroom was VERY clean. The camp host was super. People right next to us stated that they had seen moose walk right through the campground. We didn't see any, but saw a deer a couple of times within 50 feet of our tent. The tent sites are separate from the RV's. Nice thing about this campground is it is right off of a paved road, most of the campgrounds in this area are on gravel roads, and if you want to dirve anywhere else it invlolves a number of miles on washboard gravel.
