What a wonderful camp ground! Dale, the host, is the BEST! Went above and beyond to help us during our stay. He pointed out great things to do and see in the nearby area as we weren’t from around here. We were able to stay here an extra night due to his help. View from these sites were of the valley which is beyond beautiful- including seeing herded sheep each morning. Would highly recommend and hopefully we’ll be able to return again soon.

The bathrooms were always clean, and never out of toilet paper. The camp host was very friendly and made rounds frequently to make sure our stay was great! He worked very hard to make sure things were taken care of as needed! My family was so impressed.

Our experience at Sitting Bull Campground was fabulous!! The host (Dale) was the best camp host ever! He was accommodating and kept the grounds and bathrooms in excellent condition. Dale would check in with us daily to make sure we were enjoying our stay or if we needed anything. He was informative, pleasant and a great people person. We will be back!!

Too many people with generators. Too many inconsiderate people who start their generators at 6:10 AM and turn them off at 9:58 PM. Come on people, spend the money and buy a battery system such as a Jackery. Or be old-fashioned and brew your morning coffee with a propane stove.

I wish that the forest service would develop new campgrounds that prohibit generators. They need to expand the number of sites in federal lands anyway, why no do it with sites that allow a person to be in the natural environment that they expected?

Camp host was very good, checking reservations, etc several times daily. He kept outhouse exceptionally clean, firepits were cleaned out and campground was clean. Probably the best hosting job I've seen at sitting bull in many years. One negative, not in hospital control- the outhouse vaults were full, so the scedule for pumping them should be adjusted.

We have stayed here many times over the years and this year was wonderful. Dale is a great campground host and the bathrooms were spotless and if you needed anything he was right in it.

great campground for larger trailers, though many people stayed in tents. sheep were in the meadow, but never in our camp area. great place for 50" atv/side by side machines. close to the lake. the area was beautiful in the middle of July, very green and comfortable weather.
