We really enjoyed our stay here and wish we could have stayed a few more days. The campsites are large with ample shade and few bugs. Everything was clean and well kept. Meadowlark Lake is a few minutes away and excellent for all water play. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed. A large flock of sheep roam the adjacent meadow bringing in that pastoral aesthetic. Dale, the camp host was very friendly and helpful.

Very beautiful quiet spot, fit our 40’ 5th wheel. The trail that keeps going past campground is goes a little ways but is 50” only. The trails were very crowded with vehicles, not SXS’s which we thought was interesting.

Sitting Bull is a very nice campground. It is well maintained, with plenty of vault toilets and water spigots available. We brought our kayaks to use in Meadowlark Lake across the highway. We saw several moose and deer while we were camping.

Very nice campground, clean and mostly quiet. However, when the sheep move in around the middle of July that is a smelly and dog issue

The replacement camp host, Dale, was doing an excellent job keeping the vault toilets very clean! He was easy to talk to, personable, and helpful.
A suggestion is that check out and check in times (2pm) should not be the same. This can make for a traffic jam, especially as full as the campground was during our stay. They should at least be an hour difference.

Normally good this might have been a bad trip between the host and other campers
