Beautiful, quiet campsite. It has a special feel to it I cannot quite put my finger on. As we entered, the trees, the campsites and the lupines in bloom everywhere we looked seemed to tell us this would be a great stay. We'll be back!

What a beautiful place in God's creation! Note it is up high, over 8,000 feet which means it is cold at night! Saw a moose. Did a lovely 10 mile trail that had only one switchback and was very doable. It is one road west of the campground. I think it was Trail 068.

This is our favorite campground! It's our favorite place we have found so far for camping because 1)no poison ivy here 2) cool enough at night during summer to bundle up and not be hot 3) not touristy or overcrowded (For some this may be a draw back but our ideal.) We have seen moose every time we have camped in the Bighorn mountains. Often moose will go to the stream which runs along the campground's entrance road. We love the meadow and mountain views. Across from the campground is also Meadowlark Lodge and Meadowlark Lake. You can't see these from the campground, but they are great places to go for a hot meal or adventure. In the campground is a trail that circles around several lily pad ponds. If you follow the trail that goes up into the mountains about 2 hours' hike, there are two large, natural mountain lakes. Of course you'll have to plan for the 2 hour hike down too. We absolutely loved our camp hosts, Crystal and Marty, this year.

Nice Campground with a helpful accommodating host. Too many ATV's for this silent sports enthusiast. The road accessing the campground needs grading.

Sehr schöne Campsites gegen die offene Wiese hin, auch Waldsites sehr nett (bei uns leider überflutet), äußerst nette Lady als Camphost.
