Very private sites, great campground. Noise from construction trucks on maun road starts early.

Indian Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful and quiet setting, surrounded by trails and offering a sense of privacy with well-maintained sites. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful, ensuring cleanliness throughout the campground, including the vault toilets. While some visitors experienced noise disturbances from other campers and noted the lack of showers, the overall atmosphere is tranquil, making it a great spot to enjoy the natural beauty of Yellowstone.

Our check-in was extraordinary- you read that right- Steve went above and beyond telling us all sorts of useful information about both the campground and the park itself. He even gave us some real neat tips about other nearby parks as well! Our tent pad did the trick, the fire ring was large, and everyone was respectful of each other and of quiet hours. Lovely campground.

Campground was okay, but the vault toilets were full since you dump all gray water, food waste and go the bathroom in the same place. I don’t know how often they are emptied but I would hope it was more often than appeared.

Camp hosts were super friendly people (that has always been my experience). Be aware that there is no fire wood available here. Nearest was at Mammoth Springs 20 mins away or so.
