The campground is very clean and quiet. It is set far enough from the road that you do not hear any traffic.

Indian Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful and quiet setting, surrounded by trails and offering a sense of privacy with well-maintained sites. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful, ensuring cleanliness throughout the campground, including the vault toilets. While some visitors experienced noise disturbances from other campers and noted the lack of showers, the overall atmosphere is tranquil, making it a great spot to enjoy the natural beauty of Yellowstone.

This was a fantastic campground! NO GENERATORS allowed. Friendly camphosts and great Rangers. Only complaint is they need to clean the pit toilets more often, with so many tent campers they are used frequently. Great location for seeing the NW corner of Yellowstone, with lots of close hiking. Be aware, bears are everywhere and the Rangers & camphosts enforce the rules regarding food storage. Pit toilets & water available. We drove to Mammoth and showered at the hotel. You buy a pass to access the cottage guest bath houses. About 8 mi, but a great drive.

I had a wonderful time at this campsite. The wife and husband who were the host made my experience even better. It was the first campsite that a host went and gathered firewood for me without me knowing as I was touring on a motorcycle. I felt at home immediately and was the highlight of my Yellowstone trip.

Sites are close together but lots of tree coverage. Bathrooms and campground are very clean. Quiet and peaceful at night. Each site has its own bear box.
