What Guests Are Saying
Indian Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean sites and friendly, helpful hosts, making it a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Its location offers easy access to hiking trails and is away from major crowds, which adds to its charm. While some guests experienced reservation mix-ups and noted the absence of on-site firewood, the overall experience remains positive with many planning to return.

The camp site and camp host (Marty) were great! Our major issue was the specs on the site. Website say's driveway is 35 ft by 11 ft but in reality at best 26 ft by 12 ft. So if you rent/have a trailer, 22 ft is really pushing what you can fit in there plus you're on a 1 lane road with posts stopping you from getting too far on the grass. Besides that you're in the north west part of the park with quite of few people so expect that. Had a great time but would not stay in this camp ground again, way to compact and restrictive for primitive camping.

Enjoyed my stay at Indian creek. Not far from Mammoth hotel and historic fort.
Anyway it was kinda far from main geyser attractions , but park is huge and maybe Canyon village would be better location. Unfortunately it under private management.
If you would like to see wild life Lamar valley is your destination
If you like to hike take Bunsen peak, not far from campground and Petrified forest trail from AllTrails app., you can continue hike to Soecimen ridge total 4 miles out and back. Difficult
