What Guests Are Saying
Mammoth Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with clean facilities and stunning views, making it a great base for exploring Yellowstone. Campers appreciated the helpful staff, wildlife encounters, and easy access to nearby trails. While some restrooms were closed during certain seasons and check-in could be slightly confusing, the overall atmosphere remained peaceful and enjoyable for visitors.

Our view from our site was beautifully epic! The sounds of the elk passing thru during the night was amazing! Absolutely breathtaking campground! We will only camp there when we come back to the area!

Knowledgable, helpful, staff.
Clean facilities and grounds.
Amazing views.
Friendly campers.
About a 1 mile walk (uphill) to the Mammoth Hot Springs Dining Room.
Selfishly, I should probably fib and say this campground is awful...

We love Mammoth campground. It's always clean and super quiet. We have not had a bad camp spot and we have had many this year.

The site is close to Mammoth town, which is small and cozy. The bathrooms are heated, cleaner than most of the campground sites that I’ve been to. The view is fantastic. Definitely will come back~~~

James and Cindy Gibson are the best kind of people to host camping venues. They are always pleasant and welcoming despite the drudgery of cleaning up after some that just have no manners.
