What a beautiful park! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The views for sunrises and sunsets were astounding. We were in site 41 and would stay in it again. We explored a little in some of the surrounding towns. Abbeville is charming. All the neon signs were terrific. Loved the Food Giant grocery store as well. We also went to Eufala and it had a variety of food choices. We can't wait to plan another visit to Hard Ridge.

We enjoyed our stay. All workers we encountered were courteous and helpful. The bathhouse was clean and conveniently located. The laundry room was clean and in good working order. The campsite itself was set up nice with a long picnic table, a campfire ring, an extra utility table, and a lantern pole. The only problem we had was with ants. Next time we stay here we will treat our site before we set up. We hope to stay here again.

Hardridge Creek is a beautiful park with beautiful views. The bathrooms were clean and I appreciated the laundry facilities. Sadly, I can only give this lovely place 3 stars due to our RV and truck being infested with 100’s, maybe 1000’s of ants. This happened to many other campers near us as well. We understand that ants might be part of the camping experience but as seasoned campers for 40 years, we have only encountered this one other time and it was less severe.

For those liking the water, this is a great place with easy access to the water. The hiking trail is plus with plenty of places to walk.

Too many camping sites are tied up by weekend campers preventing older campers from being able to reserve thier favorite site for two weeks.

they need to clean under brush between camp site and water, very overgrown and could not get to water from my site, site 12, other than that, the attendants were very nice and pleasant, and the park is great

I was escaping Florida to avoid Hurricane Debby in my camper. I found Hardridge Creek and thought it had pull through sites and seemed pretty. When I arrived without reservations the entrance station volunteers were fantastic. I had been looking at a site in the teens and they recommended site #41 on the water. I loved the site, it was very peaceful with water views on both sides of my camper and a beautiful sunrise. The only downside was the ants. I had them coming in from both sides of the camper, and it wasn't pleasant. Luckily I had ant bait so was able to eliminate them pretty quickly. I suggest feeding the ants outside to keep them happy and out of your camper.
I will definitely recommend this campground to friends and family, probably random strangers also.

The place is kept very clean, specially the bathrooms. They have very clean showers too with hot water. They had staff driving around every once in a while. The park is always very quiet, no one disturbing anyone. The only issue I found is the insane amount of ants. Even spraying the tires, cables, hoses and jacks, with ant spray, they managed to get inside our RV, and vehicles. I guess they fell from the trees because we had them all over our camper. Also we had deer ticks on us when we wondered the paths to the lake. Other than those issues, nice park.

Camp site was beautiful- didn’t catch many fish though. And the ant problem is out of control.
