Nice quiet campground on lake. Most sites were spread out. Bathrooms were dated but clean. Wish they had more trails to walk. There was only one.

Our site 43 was superb corner waterfront. The site was lovely and well groomed. Private with lake views res. Only concern was the neighboring camper felt the need to post up to three of his fishing poles onto our space and view even though he had an even wider lake front. I just think fishermen need to be told to stick to their own yard or a public area. Too bad so many trees have come down on the driveway be in due to beetles. But not at camp ground. I do thnk it should be cleaned up and groomed a bit. Some new planting.

Nice concrete pad and asphalt drive but site 71 is small. Site 70 driveway is right next to your RV and your picnic table area adjoins site70 making these 2 sites really buddy sites. Check in and out was easy. Propane is 22 miles away so be sure your tank is full. Buy your groceries before entering park because Abbeyville is 17 miles away and Eufaula is a 20 mile drive.. Downed tree are everywhere detracting from any beauty the park may have had. Lake is huge but extremely muddy. Park was very peaceful and we enjoyed our weeklong stay.

Upon arrival the park attendant Rick Watson was not a very welcoming person. Not friendly at all. Never smiled during the check in process. He told me that we had to hang the white tag where he could see or he would chase us down and he said he had been known to do this. I talked to another camper who voiced very similar experience with this man. He was quite rude. The campground is lovely esp the island portion I wished I would of booked into one of those sites. Upon departure we would greeted by Mr Phillips who was super friendly and very nice quite different from the first man.

Nice park. Great hosts. Too bad they have had to cut down so many trees due to an infestation. But, still a nice campground.

Beautiful COE with nicely spaced sites. Site 17 was tapered so our 37 ft TT barely fit on the level pad and we were careful in exiting the site not to drag the rear of the camper. Site 18, 19 or 20 is longer with less taper and would be better for longer campers. A nice place to ride bikes. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Hardridge is a beautiful campground. We stayed in site 73 with family in 72. The sites are level. Cell service (Verizon) was good, and facilities were clean. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back soon!
