Luv this campground. Friendly and quiet. Make sure you have something for ants. They will invade your camper

First time camping at Hardridge, the overall experience was very good. Site 34 was well maintained with a generous amount of space but the adjoining sites are arranged linier and fairly close so privacy is limited, luckely we had good neighbors.

I have loved every COE campground until this one. I’m assuming that our campsite was on a nest of big black ants. I couldn’t figure out where they were coming from, but we fought them all week. There were hundreds of them in our camper. It was not very fun. When we left Hardridge I was able to get rid of them. Probably won’t go back. Too bad because the place was really beautiful and peaceful during the week. Little crowded on the weekends as expected.

This was an excellent campground. We used the trails, walked around the campground. There is a very nice playground for children and the lake is beautiful. We will be back for sure.

We enjoyed our time here. The campsites and bathhouses were well kept. Our only complaint was poor phone reception around our site.
