Beautiful campground on an Alabama reservoir. Most of the sites are waterfront. Nice kept grounds. Only issue is that if you need to leave early for your next destination the gate does not open until 8 AM. That’s a problem for a lot of travelers.

The campgrounds and bathroom facilities were very clean. The fall weather was too cool for swimming but my grandkids still enjoyed the well maintained beach area of the lake.

Hardridge Creek is our favorite campground. Clean, large sites, easy water access and hospitable hosts.

The campsite was plenty long enough with a side slot for parking the tow vehicle. We liked that the pad is concrete. We picked up quite a bit of trash from the site so we left it better than we found it. The grill and firepit don't seem to get cleaned out between visitor stays. We would stay here again. We camped at Hardridge Creek in site 77 with a Fifth Wheel.
