We were in site #51, on the lake, just at the edge of the beach. Felt like we had our own beach. The sunrises were glorious. Sadly we were inundated with ants. Had the host warned us of ants at check-in, we would have been able to prevent them from getting into our camper. We mentioned that to one host and he said oh yeah, they're all around this lake. Not something we would know coming from out of state! The hosts did drive through once or twice in a day in their personal vehicles. I guess this park doesn't provide them with utility/golf carts. Nobody checks sites after campers check-out. The charcoal grill in our site was disgusting with food residue caked on the grills and still full of ash. The nightlights were left on at the power poles in several nearby sites. So sad that either the park is under-staffed/under-funded or nobody cares. I can't advise the status of the bathhouses as there are only 2 in this campground of 5 camping loops.
Would we return? Probably, if only to in site #51 again! But we'll absolutely bring ant prevention and our own grill.
