This Campground was one of the best I have been too. The whole experience was awesome. Larry the host was extremely friendly and helpful. The campsite was nice and clean. The deck was absolutely awesome. I will return again m

Nice, very quiet park. For when you just really want to get away from it all. Huge stripper fish in river (under the dam waterfall) made for some good camp fire eating. Would've gave five stars if had at least one cell bar reception anywhere inside the park. Nearest reception was at least 15 minutes drive away starting from outside the park.

The only problem I had was no phone service at all. If there was a emergency no one could get in touch with you. You couldn’t ask for a better volunteer than Larry Harris.

Lee at the office was very nice and also the volunteers , Denise & Tom, they really made us feel comfortable.
Hard to get someone to answer the phone at the office and a laundry facility would be nice, other than that, I loved it!

Spotless campsite, bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a campground. Beautiful place!

Always Love staying here. The river is a peaceful place to be. Saw Otters, Racoons, Cranes, Hawks, Turkey's, etc.

The campground hosts were great. During our stay we had severe weather predicted and had to report to a shelter. Prior the host confirmed who would be at the campground the evening of the severe weather and informed us of how we would be notified should we need to report to a shelter - which we did.
The campground is in need of maintenance.

Had a great time camping with our friend group. The campsite was well maintained and peaceful. Amenities were well kept as well. No phone service made for a good break from social media and burdens we put on ourselves with our phones. We’ll definitely be coming back next year

I arrived at the site at 9:55 To find the gates already closed. As a single woman traveling up some desolate roads and trying my best to get there on time, I was very frustrating to arrive at a dead end. There was a man fishing in the parking lot next to the gates which was a little scary. It was also my first time taking my new motorhome camping! Not only did I not get to camp, I had to turn it around on a narrow road...thank goodness for the rock pile on the side of the road! There was no cell service to call someone so my only choice was to drive 30 miles back down to the highway (total of 60 miles of expensive gas) to be forced to find another place to sleep as I was several hundred miles from my destination. Eventually ended up camping in an unprotected Cracker Barrel parking lot, 4 hours after I should have been behind a gate, relaxing lakeside! I had a reservation, the site should have known I was coming and should not lock the gates before all guests have arrived or the scheduled closing time!
