We had a wonderful time! We got in late but the attendant was still up and had even called to check on us earlier to ensure we were coming. Bathrooms were clean and the area was great. No cell service but I didnt mind. Our site had water and electricity which made out tent camping super enjoyable.

This is a quiet campground. So peaceful and relaxing. If you have kids that are attached to their mobile devices, this is the place to go to watch them go crazy or store the device, and enjoy the outdoors. We had two different phone carriers and both were out of range. So if you depend on Google Maps, save this section of Alabama to your SD card, so you can get out of here. A normal GPS should work just fine. I actually had to use my All Trails app to bring up an offline map, so I could navigate back to the interstate. You'll find the campground host to be friendly and helpful.
