Always a pleasant stay here. The park is well-maintained, and park personnel are frequently making rounds to be sure all is well. We particularly enjoy the waterfront sites as we can just drop the canoe in right at camp. The bath room is clean and always has hot water. .

Very nice, well maintained park. Stayed in site 3. This is a back in, paved drive, reverse site and was a little challenging to get in based on my skill level. Nice deck and view of the river and sunsets over the mountains. The deck went went right to the water's edge. Family of 4 stayed 4 nights and raised some concern over our black water holding capacity as these are non sewer sites but that ended well after all. I walked all of the other sites on the waters edge and if available I'd select site 6 next time. It offers correct trailer orientation, privacy, deck, shade and river view. Note: Bring everything you'll need for your stay ... It's a long way back to town. There's no cell service. I really like this feature because camping is about changing the subject after all.

There's NO connectivity to the outside world here, except the camp's main number, so cell's, and internet doesn't exist here. Killed a copperhead snake that came out of a hole 2' from my truck. Tiny tiny ants infest the place, everything you lie down is instantly covered. One public restroom was fairly close, but the showers were about a half a mile walk to get too. The concrete pad we were on was slanted so water stood against the wall and under our camper, instead of being tilted to where the water would run away from us. Fell off the concrete slab where there was a solid FOOT drop and almost broke my knee. But, good side, the people were really nice and there's a BOATLOAD of turtles in the lake.

We had a great little birthday party for our son there. The place was clean and well maintained and the hosts are the nicest people. You couldn't ask for a better group of folks to oversee a park!
