What Guests Are Saying
White Oak Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice among campers. Many enjoy the spacious, well-maintained sites, particularly those by the water, and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere despite some noise from motorized boats. While there are occasional concerns about restroom cleanliness and the need for better maintenance, most visitors express a desire to return.

Great place to camp and be near the water. We park our boat just off the shore in front of camper.

Our site flooded during afternoon rain shower; floated our rug … site not maintained as in past visits! Husband took shovel and cleaned out site drainage trench … I would suggest doing this before first afternoon shower!!!

First off, this was one of the most scenic views from our waterfront campsite. Which they had many, I think maybe more waterfront than not.
The bathrooms were a bit dated, but very clean.
The power and water worked great, the pump out (two of them) worked fine with good water pressure.
I would recommend this sight for anyone wanting to relax and look out the back side of their camper to a wonderful sunset most evenings.
We did fun a steak/burger/seafood place real close by. It had a small salad Bar with everything I liked on it.

The good: Beautiful campground. Clean restrooms. Level site. Plenty of shade.
The not so good: Check in. My husband and I are not used to being "instructed" as we were. Ordered to go back to our vehicle until it was our turn to check in. Yelling through the side door was not very friendly in my opinion. It got worse from there. My husbands America the beautiful pass signature wasn't clear enough for the gentleman checking us in. He made him sign it again in front of him. Their attention was then turned to our vehicle's rear view mirror where the previous camp ground hang tag was still there which irritated them. Using the same tone as the "get back in your camper" instructions we were "instructed" to remove all hang tags. And lastly the instructions about being locked out of the campground if we were not back by 10 p.m. I mean, really? No reason to be like that, we are nice people!
