White Oak Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice among campers. Many enjoy the spacious, well-maintained sites, particularly those by the water, and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere despite some noise from motorized boats. This park is just beautiful !! It's run by the Corps of Engineers who have made so many wonderful campgrounds around lakes in the USA. We camped right on Lake Eufaula, waterviews out all our windows. The staff were very accommodating to our needs, we got delayed a day and then stayed 2 extra days. It's a great location for day trips, 17 miles south to Abbyville and north to Eufaula. If you like fishing it's got it all, boat ramps and miles of lake.

Such a nice place. The campground hosts were excellent. There's plenty of shade trees to help with keeping the sun at bay, and water and electric at all sites. The bathhouse in the loop we stayed was clean and convenient. The dump station was easy access and set up with 2 lanes to help with a busy weekend departure. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed this campground so much, we cancelled future plans at another campground to book here again.

The park itself is very nice. The gate keepers seem a little bit too much. The old timer that was working seems to take his job pretty serious, to the point where he is kind of rude and in friendly. Also, the fact the park has a locked gate that must be opened by security for emergencies only after hours seems ridiculous. I mean if the park wants to be that secure I believe a gate code or a combination lock should be in place for people who do not want to be confined like a prisoner between 10pm and 7am. Other wise the campground itself is very nice.
