We camped at spot 42 and were very happy. Plenty of shade all day and easy water access! Only issue is the dirt beside the paved camping pads has eroded to a point where there’s a 4” to 6” drop. Making it difficult for us older folks!

Beautiful setting most back have lake frontage. Sites nicely spaced.
Only negative was trash along beach.

I really love the camp sites at Amity. My only complaint is the dump station. The angle of the dump site is bad. I waited until my grey and black tanks completely emptied, yet when I got home it still showed on my inside meter being 1/3 full. Sure enough when I opened the valves on my RV more yucky grey ( and black) water spilled out. Later I read posts on the Georgia RV facebook site that others have had this same experience at Amity. They all feel as though the pavement needs to be raised higher on one side to allow better flow when emptying.

The campground hosts were very welcoming. The site was right on the water with a wonderful view of the lake. I wish our schedule would have allowed us to spend a week in the park.

From West Point Georgia, travel north on Stateline Road/County Road 212 for approximately 7 miles, and watch for a sign for the campground on the right side of the road. County Road 393 on the right leads directly into the campground entrance.
The campground is accessible via County Road 212, which connects to U.S. Route 431 approximately 12 miles to the west.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
