This is a lovely park - many shaded sites and beautiful views, restrooms very clean, and the hosts and volunteers the best we've encountered in 11 years of travel. One caveat, however, while River Bluff is absolutely beautiful, the sites are tight for large rigs with opposing slides. The volunteers are very helpful in helping you back out if necessary but it would be better if there was a warning on sites for that loop. We were told there was something on one of the recreation.gov pages, but even after searching I couldn't find any mention of narrow pads or tight turns. And yes, we fit in the length of the site as noted in the site description, but not the width.

Campgrounds were very clean. A tornado had passed through the Campgrounds 2 weeks before we arrived. Alot of downed trees and damage to the pier. Hopefully they will be able to repair everything. Hard to see the water through the trees but the decks at the sites are awesome.

Best Corp of Engineers campsite in Alabama. Level and concrete pads at campsite. Enough distance between campsites to feel private. Helpful staff. A shoutout to Kim who is always so attending.

Paved .5 mile path was great. If you take a hiking trail beware of ticks!

Deerlick Creek is a great place to camp. The sites were very nice with fire rings, picnic tables, lantern hooks, and a utility table. The bathhouse was very clean and well maintained. The dump station was neat and clean. All the facilities were well cared for and lots of trails for walking.

Great COE in the woods with lots of room and separation between sites. Most have a fire pit, bbq, patio & a deck. Stayed in site 39, which has the best views, but only 30' max will fit

Small campground with water and electric. Nice sites. Pitiful excuse for a beach. Don't count on it.
