One of the most disappointing things that has ever happened to me. I reserved my spot in February, and when I arrived, I saw that it was taken. I went to talk to the manager, and he told me he was very sorry, but that someone had altered the reservation documents and there was nothing he could do—that was it. The only solution was for me to park my car next to his RV. He didn’t even give me a refund. Absolutely terrible—avoid this place.

Beautiful camp site, tucked it the woods and out of sight of the highway. You could hear the whistle of a train going by twice a day, but both at decent hours of the day to where it wasn't a bother. In fact it added to the Alaska theme as you imagined tourists taking their first trip to Seward. Camp Host was a great guy. Very friendly and accommodating. I believe this was his first year in Alaska. I'm a local (Anchorage) and plan on making this trip an annual stay.

Absolutely awesome campground. Clean, dual restrooms (connected) which was hilarious as my friend and I got to always go together! It really was a beautiful, well managed campground. I highly recommend to others. A family experience I will not forget

The campground as well as the host were very good. The only thing that we found disappointing was that on the Recreation.gov website failed to mention that it is extremely difficult to access the river if you are older than 21.
It touts the wonderful fishing, which is why we went there, but difficulty in accessing the river was never mentioned. We ended up leaving a day early. Very disaapointing.
