What Guests Are Saying
Quartz Creek Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location, cleanliness, and well-maintained facilities. Many reviewers appreciate the spacious sites, friendly camp hosts, and access to Kenai Lake and nearby activities. However, there are concerns about the reservation system being too restrictive, making it difficult for locals to secure last-minute spots, as many reserved sites often remain empty.

Great campground! We camped in our RV, and enjoyed the fire pits and nice walks through the campground. Reservations were easy and straightforward. Would definitely stay here again!

We've been camping at Quartz Creek for 10 years and it's still one of our favorites! It looked a little different this year after the spruce bark beetle kill mitigation was completed - the sites are definitely not as private after all the dead trees they removed, but on the positive side, you can see the lake from a lot more sites now! Jerry the camp host (who has been there the last several years) also contributes to making this campground a welcoming place to stay. He does a great job keeping everything clean, managing the sites, and we look forward to seeing his friendly face every time we go :)

Nice campground with large sites situated between Quartz Creek and Kenai Lake. The campground host was very accommodating, helping us to stay an extra couple days when we changed plans. Thanks, Jerry! Cell service is good, toilets are clean, campground is quiet.
