What Guests Are Saying
Quartz Creek Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location, cleanliness, and well-maintained facilities. Many reviewers appreciate the spacious sites, friendly camp hosts, and access to Kenai Lake and nearby activities. However, there are concerns about the reservation system being too restrictive, making it difficult for locals to secure last-minute spots, as many reserved sites often remain empty.

Love the location of this campground! The lake was so beautiful and fun to kayak. The campground host is very diligent. I wanted to give it a five star rating, but we were disappointed in how many generators were running throughout the night. The flush bathrooms were also locked without any notice or sign as well as no working potable water spigot.

The map is inaccurate to the actual camp spot on site. I specifically reserved it for that location. The camp host said they have been trying to fix it for 2 years. #6 is not accurate on the map for reservations.

This is a beautiful spot next to the Kenai River. It handles our 35’ class a and toad with ease. Jerry and his wife were exceptional camp hosts. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

Outstanding campsite and camp host, Jerry. The individual sites are very clean and well maintained. The only issue was that there needs to be some trimming of trees and branches as many vehicles including mine sustained some minor abrasions navigating the loop, although nothing too serious noted. I would absolutely stay here again.

This campground is always clean and the bathrooms are clean. Taken care of very well by the host. Folks seem to quiet down quickly at night and keep music to themselves. New picnic tables and new fire pits are being installed.

Stayed in #15. Nice site. Beautiful campground. Clean and host was around and helpful. We were away from the lake so probably quieter than lakeside.

Quit hours we’re not enforced, camp spot across from us did not have a tent or camper only hard alcohol on with picnic table and 2 kegs of beer , group of 15-20 partied until 2-3 am loud music and screaming until they passed out. We left a day early, awful experience, I would love a refund but don’t expect I will get anything. Camp host made it clear to me quiet hours were at 10 but he did nothing to enforce it. Where is forest service law enforcement when you need them!
