What Guests Are Saying
Quartz Creek Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location, cleanliness, and well-maintained facilities. Many reviewers appreciate the spacious sites, friendly camp hosts, and access to Kenai Lake and nearby activities. However, there are concerns about the reservation system being too restrictive, making it difficult for locals to secure last-minute spots, as many reserved sites often remain empty.

Always love quartz creek. Excellent host, clean facilities. There are some bare areas because they had to cut trees down, beetle kill. Still beautiful tho.

Great campground, not much to do prior to 11 June. Campground host came around late in the evening verifying information.

Very clean bathrooms, the sites were picked up and maintained. Sad that a lot of trees had to be taken down but it was needed for safety. Camp host is amazing. Always working.

The reservation system is a monopoly. This is not a good system. We lost a whole campsite because we one of our party did it show.

Very clean and friendly place. They have obviously just spent a good deal of time clearing all the dead standing spruce trees, so it ls a bit more open than it use to be, but a needed maintenance task.

Nice flat and level spot. New fire rings in campground. Dead trees were all cleaned up so it’s more open now. Overall nice place.

It was very disappointing to see it so barren with all the trees they cut down, but al in all it was a wonderful experience. As always, just wonderful.

I always like Quartz Creek and even though it was rainy, this trip was no different. The camp host was fantastic, I was having some issues with my motorhome and he took the time to give me a hand. The lake and creek level was very high from recent flooding so fishing wasn't great but it's still a really nice campground. I will most certainly go back.
