What Guests Are Saying
Quartz Creek Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location, cleanliness, and well-maintained facilities. Many reviewers appreciate the spacious sites, friendly camp hosts, and access to Kenai Lake and nearby activities. However, there are concerns about the reservation system being too restrictive, making it difficult for locals to secure last-minute spots, as many reserved sites often remain empty.

Booked this double site (30) and was happy with its amount of both shade and sun (for solar panels). Site was very level for the RV asks our tent campers in the group had no complaints. Camp hosts are unobtrusive and do a great job keeping this campground clean and orderly. Bathrooms nearby were fully plumbed, which is nice.

It was great except for the two teenage kids riding their four wheeler up and down the beach where everyone was trying to get some relax time sunbathing and kayaking. Rather annoying they were. But other than that it was great.

We where in spot #11 which Was nice. Walked to the water front. Met a lot of people, relaxed, cooked out, drove over to the crescent Campground, saw a spruce hen and her little ones about six. Just enjoyed life. The camp host Jerry was a really nice guy and Host. Anything you needed to know he could direct you.

Nice lakeside site. I used it as a base camp for day trips to Seward (and one to Homer). Being able to lock up and leave my camp trailer for the day made the day trips s lot easier. (If you’re towing something forget visiting Homer Spit… you can’t park your trailer.)
Also there’s a nice little brewpub about 1/2 mile away if you’re wanting a quick beer and/or some bar food.

What a beautiful setting! We spent 3 nights at Quartz Creek and wish we had time to stay longer. It is located near some excellent fly-fishing spots and is remarkably quiet. The sites are nicely sized, and we had no issues getting our 38’ DP and Jeep in the site. The dump station is clean, easily accessible, and features potable water.

Our family has been going to Quartz Creek most of my life. Love the campground, the creek and the lake. It’s one of my favorite to be in nature.

Quartz Creek is my favorite campground! The views are 360 degrees stunning. It was a blue banner day and the lake allowed canoeing. Site 44 is close to the boat ramp and restroom there, so it was very handy with getting the canoe to the water. We backed in with our 18 foot trailer.
