The host was friendly and helpful. The scenery is amazing and campground quiet. Having the pizza and ice cream shop a short walk away is always a fun bonus. The kids kayaked across the lake to meet us for ice cream one night. There is some highway noise but we barely notice it. We love Tenderfoot.

Great location for lake adventures! If you are a light sleeper, remember to pack your earplugs to help limit noise from the highway. We had site 6 and loved having the short trail access to the water!

Nice campground. Not bad spacing between sites. Bugs were prevalent.

Had a great 4 days at Tenderfoot Creek with lots of sunshine and fish to catch. However, something needs to be done with the boat launch. The launch is very shallow and it makes it very hard to launch and recover boats. You basically have to drive your vehicle into the lake. Not conducive with a 31 ft motorhome.

It’s always great camping at Tenderfoot Creek when the weather is warm; and it was this time around. The only issue was, compared to previous years and previous visits, was that the bathrooms were not cleaned in what could be considered as acceptable. Trash bags were full and, in one, there was no toilet paper (even though there was room on the bar for 4-5 individual rolls).

The camp sites were clean, which was a reflection of the campers.

Nice hike just across the way at the south end of Upper Summit Lake. Small little parking lot but good hike.

Weather was pleasant. Site was clean. But the black flies were the worst I’ve seen.
