We enjoy the campground every year we visit, October is cold for for us we might have to go before,s o we can enjoy the outdoor more and not just stay inside our tent. September is tatarantula season, so you might want to reconsider. I like this campground because is clean, has water and bathrooms.

Great campground, very pretty. Clean toilet facilities and sites. FYI, come prepared: no firewood or ice to purchase. The closest town with these items is Prescott Valley. There a cell tower right outside the campground so great cell coverage.

Potato Patch is a lovely campground. We camped in a travel trailer in the electric hookup loop. It was fairly quiet and our site was spacious and pretty.

Great campground - clean, up in the pines, close to lots of great hiking, convenient to Prescott, Jerome, and Sedona. - 5 stars.
But - minus two stars for all of the jerks who run generators in the A-loop. If ya need electricity, reserve a spot in the B loop and leave some peace and quiet for those of us who can do without.
