First time at Potato Patch and we loved it! Very clean site and bathrooms. It poured and hailed on us the last night for about 30 mins and it was glorious. After the rain stopped we made a fire and sat out and watched the little bats flying all over.
The only negative I’d have to say (if it’s the sort of thing that would bother someone) is that it is pretty close to the main road, which is a two lane mountain road but it still attracts the type of driver who wants to drive it like a wannabe race car driver. So you get the occasional loud engine going by at all times of the day and occasionally after it’s dark. (People are the worst) All the RV spots are very close to tent spots and so you will also hear generators however everyone was very mindful of the quiet hours. But unfortunately for us, it was not quiet hours when we had a huge thunder and lightning storm so it was hard to enjoy the thunder mixed with the generators. But in all it was a fantastic spot close to Jerome and Mingus Mountain for little day trips. Highly recommend.

Very clean campground, bathrooms included. Sites are a bit too close for those loud campers that think everyone in the campground has to hear them.

I rather the campers were further apart we met great people. The camp grounds are very clean no complaints at all. The tent area looked very nice more privacy. I will definitely be coming back. One last thing the host was wonderful and took excellent care of everything and everyone

Really nice campground. Hosts are wonderful. New Verizon cell tower right outside the campground. We were even able to stream movies!! That’s a first. Thank you we’ll be back.
