We love Potato Patch Campground. It’s clean, the restrooms are kept clean, sites are spacious and it’s close enough to activities yet far enough to be restful.

The couple who next to us told us about the new trail that connects with Woodchute! It was a great trail. Bathrooms clean! We could have a campfire which was great! We have stayed here before when we had a pop up camper now 23 ft Gulfstream Vintage trailer. Love this camoground! The only thing is I signed in as myself ..my husband has the senior pass...couldn’t reach anyone at recreation.gov to get a credit.🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

This was the first time we stay here, we really like it, but it was to small for four people. We have two tents and there was only space for one, so our had to go a little more into the wild. We experience a visit from a tarantula, crazy! it took a wild for it to leave our camp site, but finally left. This happened the end of September, later i heard that is mating season that month. We visit again the middle of October and no tarantulas, but colder.

Me and my family really enjoy staying at this camp site twice already this year. We loved it, is clean, well taken care of and we liked the fact that has access to water. Is the smallest camp site i ever stayed at and that is one of the reasons why i love it.
Looking forward to reserve for next year. The host is great, very helpful and him and his wife take care of the camp site so well.

Present and responsive camp host. The restrooms were some of the cleanest and best smelling I have experienced. Beautiful location! Great views on the hiking trail (ask the camp host). Jerome is close by and a great day trip. You can definitely hear the cars on the 89, but earplugs at night allowed me to sleep with no problems.

Great campground. The loop without electric set nicely in the trees, loops with electric on hilltop with short hike to see redrock views.
Only bummer was the host Ken. Not the friendliest during our stay, perhaps because we had a class A breakdown and thus did not have an RV for 1/4 of our campsites. He was upset with us about that. He also directed a FF to our campground before the noon checkout time creating a poor, rushed packing up and leaving experience.

We had a great experience. The camp site was clean and accessible with our motorhome. We were able to hike and enjoy the scenery. The camp host was friendly and offered his help or answer any questions we had. My wife and I will definitely return in the future.

Very nice, quiet campground. Camp hosts were super and the bathrooms awesome! Composting toilets should be in every NF campground. Large spaces. My only concern was that campfires in the rings (which were very nice by the way), were still allowed, in a season fraught with fires.
