This campground has a decent amount of space between sites, was very clean and hosts were lovely. It was fun to explore the lava flow right along the site. The lava rock gravel everywhere means things don't get very messy/muddy when it's rainy, and having flush toilets and a sink to wash hands in makes for a very comfortable tent camping experience.

Camp hosts were present and very nice. Bathrooms were cleaned multiple times a day. So much room between sites, and all sites had a charcoal grill in addition to a fire pit. Trails right off the campground or very close by.

The camp site was exceptional. The concessionaire does a great job keeping the campground and restrooms clean.
One of our favorite spots!
