Beautiful campground; would absolutely stay here again! The camp spots were very spacious and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The bathrooms were clean and roomy and the camp hosts were lovely. Very close to Flagstaff, but still far enough away for a peaceful camping experience. Really close to Sunset Crater park and the lava fields, which was a fun destination to explore.

A quick stop along an arduous route, I was looking for an easy in / out with reduced pavement and increased trees. I got all that and more! Thank you Bonito for greeting my morning with pine trees and sunshine, and accompanying my early departure with a caldera view.

Nice little campground just off I-17. Site was level and campers respected the dark skies. Toilets were dated, but clean and well stocked. Potable water is available, but you may want to bring your own.

Host was very good. Campground clean and well maintained.
The only negative I would note for this visit was the online reservation system not clearly noting back-in sites. Most of the “pull thru” sites did not accommodate our 32’ class C. Fortunately we were able to find a FF site that was open and moved.
