Very good location and helpful camphosts, No hookups, no problem... there's a lot of sun to meet all basic needs and a bit extra for a few frivolous things. Weather was perfect!

Excellent campground, super nice and helpful camphosts, clean bathrooms, good location, gorgeous sunsets....what more could you ask for?
Please don't disturb the wonderful silence by being rude and running your loud gas generators! It's not hard at all to do without your air fryer for a few days! And.....solar generators work so efficiently and quietly! Give it a try!

This is ALWAYS a lovely stay. The campground is clean, the restrooms are clean, and the hosts are friendly. There’s plenty of space between sites. The NP is right there (the visitor center is being renovated and is closed). Flagstaff is nearby.

Drive 12 miles northeast of Flagstaff on US 89. Turn east (right) on FR 545 (toward Sunset Crater) and drive 2 miles to Bonito Campground. Campground entrance is just before the entrance station of Sunset Crater National Monument
Bonito Campground is accessible via US 89, located approximately 12 miles southwest of the campground. The campground can be reached by turning east on Forest Road 545 from US 89.
