This is ALWAYS a lovely stay. The campground is clean, the restrooms are clean, and the hosts are friendly. There’s plenty of space between sites. The NP is right there (the visitor center is being renovated and is closed). Flagstaff is nearby.

Bonito is our go-to campground when we’re in the Flagstaff area. It’s always well managed, it’s beautiful and restful, and it’s so close to Sunset Crater which is a real gem. Unless Bonito is full, we’d plan to camp there any time.

Had an amazing time on this trip thanks to an amazing campground. Went up with friends who got their campgrounds, two others, and we loved it. Amazing weather, very well maintained campsite and a very very friendly staff. Oh and clean bathrooms also were a plus. Definitely coming back many times.
