The campsites are well spaced out and the time of year I went it was very quiet and peaceful during the daytime.

all spaces are just wide enough for your RV and or Trailer when you step out you are steping on to a recline that is not safe for most campers. Most campers we saw when we have been thre are 60 and above this is unsafe for all campers.

Beautiful camp, beautiful park and an interesting Ranger presentation on the history with NASA. We will be back in October.

Drive 12 miles northeast of Flagstaff on US 89. Turn east (right) on FR 545 (toward Sunset Crater) and drive 2 miles to Bonito Campground. Campground entrance is just before the entrance station of Sunset Crater National Monument
Bonito Campground is accessible via US 89, located approximately 12 miles southwest of the campground. The campground can be reached by turning east on Forest Road 545 from US 89.
