I made this a one-night plan stop to camp here for the first time and see what it was like. Everything is wonderful, the lights from Phoenix and Tucson on the horizon where very visible. I did shoot a time lapse of the night sky and the rise of the Milky Way there was another camper in the field of view of my camera that had an outside light on all night, he was the only one in the campground. All in all I enjoyed the petroglyphs and the night away from the interstate.

Well spaced sites, beautiful desert, with a few Petroglyphs. There was some minor road noise by not enough to keep us awake. It is a good stopping point between Tucson or Phoenix and San Diego.

The petroglyphs are cool to see. There is NO water, NO dump station, so as long as you have what you need, it's a fine place. I enjoyed my short stay. There are blm trails you can hike as far as you care to, seems a popular ohv site.

This is a beautiful area and full of unique histories. Just keep in mind that camping is quite rustic, but the sunsets are exquisite.

Very quiet camp sites! Very little traficc on the main road. Nice and dark too for star gazing!. There is a low fence to keep people away from the petroglyphs so some are a good 50' away fro you!. Usual pit toilets. Fire pits and benches at each site.
