Many visitors appreciate the clean restrooms and well-maintained grounds, making it a great stop for travelers along I-15. Great place for my one-night camp as I was heading across the desert. There was a little highway noise, but not too bad. My spot was close to the river, so it was minimal.

Beautiful views, located directly off the highway, easy self check in process. No facilities but it's perfect for an overnight on the way from Vegas to Zion ect.

One of the most beautiful spots in a beautiful canyon.

Made the reservation...drove 500 miles and got there late at night expecting to pull into our reserved and paid for site. Someone already in our site and set up. They had a slip on the post saying they had paid. No camp host or anybody around. Had to go take a relatively undesireable site closer to the freeway where the noise kept me up all night. Nobody put a RESERVED slip on the post to hold it for the people who had paid for it.

Nothing particularly wrong with the camp ground, it’s clean and has decent facility’s but it barren. There is nothing special to it and most of the sites don’t have shade which is a major negative because with all the asphalt it’s makes the sites super hot.

Decided not to stay here as it was right next to the very busy highway. The weather was bad which also contributed to our decision. It seems like the sites were open and there were restroom facilities.

Decided to break my journey here on my way to Moab in August, and there was hardly anyone around. Got to the campground around sunset time and didn’t have to worry about someone taking over my spot. Beautiful camp site (34), and it is also tent friendly as there is enough space to set up tents even though it doesn’t have a tent pad.

We were very disappointed with Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area. We had our camping equipment stolen and then we had someone taking our site as well while we were driving around. There was nothing on the site post to show we reserved our site. We will never go to Virgin River Canyon.
