The access to register is somewhat cumbersome. I was unable to register through the website so had to download the app in order to register. With limited connectivity, it was a challenge.

Easy parking for my 35’ motorhome, quiet nights sleep, a lovely hike down to the river, great sunset, easy off and on to I-15.

convenient access to main road. Beautiful canyons and river bank trails. Clean and well maintained. Dog-friendly with running potable water.

There were some odd interactions with day visitors. It seems as if some visit for nefarious reasons. My second day/night included a man at the adjacent campsite that was passed out at the picnic table with a can of coors light. Later he moved to his car where there was also a dog. Through the day and early evening he yelled at the dog. When the occupants of the campsite arrived he moved and parked in the street between sites. This was uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, on my second night at the walk in campsites near me a large group set up with bright lights that illuminated my site as well as into my rig late into the night and early morning.
My arrival was also strange with a couple that were parked at the reserved site near me. They walked by my rig several times, filmed it and me with their phone, and then returned to their vehicle where they stayed for some time. Eventually another car parked next to them and it seemed as if there was a transaction taking place, after which they all left.
These events made me worry for my safety and the safety of my rig so I was unable to enjoy the area beyond my campsite. Very disappointing.
Beautiful area and great sites, it’s just a shame that they are not always used as intended.

I was in site #45. Large site and easy pull thru. This is a clean and well kept CG. Some sites are reservable for an extra fee.
Several nice hikes from the CG. Was just a one night stop over so I only did one short 2 mile hike.
