What Guests Are Saying
Rose Canyon Campground in the scenic "Red Rocks" of Southern Utah is a well-maintained and beautiful location, ideal for camping near Bryce Canyon NP. Campers praise the cleanliness, friendly staff, and great fishing opportunities, with many highlighting the spacious, private sites and enjoyable hiking trails. While some minor issues like road conditions and a few camp host interactions were noted, the overall experience is positive, making it a recommended spot for both relaxation and outdoor activities.

This site fits a large 3 room tent and has plenty room. The other sites are good distance away and there's some shade on the site most of the day. The bathroom wasn't always the cleanest but I've seen worse. If you need drinking water, you have to walk to the other bathroom located across the road. If you need ice, the shop at the lake normally isn't open so you have to drive up to the general shop in Summerhaven. Our first night there was a lot of other loud campers in the sites below us that stayed up until midnight but our second night was nice and quiet.

This campsite is beautiful with a lot of trees giving it shade. It located next the bathroom and water. The bathrooms were clean and didn't smell bad. Are large 3 room tent fit well at this site. It a great site for people with young kids Neighboring campsites are close by so hopefully you get quiet neighbors like we did. The lake is within walking distances but if you have young kids bring something to push/pull them in. Only down side is the shop that is by the lake was closed most of the time so we weren't able to buy any ice.

All our camp hosts were great! Lori & Carlos were very courteous, caring & hard workers! Our new camp hosts Tim & Kate checked on us frequently during our stay - they also said that if we needed anything just to let them know!
All in all we had a great camping experience at Rose Canyon - even caught some fish & they were good!
Thanks again👍🏽

The campground was well maintained and quiet. Thanks go out to the thankless job of the Hosts. Someone came up and complained to the host that the price went up this year. Like she is making too much money, Listening to such silliness must be draining, but she stayed calm and explained that everything is getting more expensive. Hard to believe you need to explain that to an adult. We will be back!

Loved the campsite and bathrooms are kept clean. I just wish camp host would of stopped other campers from being roudy, annoying drunks and were setting off their guns at 12am.

Rose Canyon is peaceful and the camp sites are great. Site 50 is good except for the traffic, ie., people driving around looking at the RV site options...
