What Guests Are Saying
Rose Canyon Campground in the scenic "Red Rocks" of Southern Utah is a well-maintained and beautiful location, ideal for camping near Bryce Canyon NP. Campers praise the cleanliness, friendly staff, and great fishing opportunities, with many highlighting the spacious, private sites and enjoyable hiking trails. While some minor issues like road conditions and a few camp host interactions were noted, the overall experience is positive, making it a recommended spot for both relaxation and outdoor activities.

Place was amazing but staff were a bit confused. we asked whether we can have 4 tents in a campground. Staff said, it is Ok since you have 3 camping spots reserved. but tomorrow morning another staff came and said , you can't have more than 8 people per campground and had to move the tent. Staff need to be aware of the rule and communicate accordingly.

Nice quiet campground, not easy to find since most street signage is for the lake. Disappointed that our site was not level, so much so that our automatic stabilizers gave up.

Camp host very nice people. I like that area very much, except the water pump was broken.

The neighboring campsite burned unsafe and foul smelling garbage. The neighboring campsite had more than the allowed number of people and cars. They stayed up late playing loud music despite being asked to quiet down by four separate people. We had to leave early due to the noise and excessive smoke. My daughter’s birthday camping trip was ruined. The park rangers were notified and spoke to the group but this did not change the inappropriate behavior. The restroom was not cleaned and was very unpleasant to use.

We reserved the Amphitheater for a large adult birthday celebration. There is no cooking or shade facilities so we got there early and was able to snag the Bobcat area. We used the parking reservations and had an excellent day. All staff was wonderful to work with and were very accommodating. Thank you for making my Father's birthday special!

Rose Canyon is a good area to go to get some relief from the heat. Wish there were more RV sites.

Sight 61 was a nice campground. Was clean. Not too much shade right above but was fine with pop ups. Close to toilet. Not a flat surface walking from the parking spot to campground.
