What Guests Are Saying
Rose Canyon Campground in the scenic "Red Rocks" of Southern Utah is a well-maintained and beautiful location, ideal for camping near Bryce Canyon NP. Campers praise the cleanliness, friendly staff, and great fishing opportunities, with many highlighting the spacious, private sites and enjoyable hiking trails. While some minor issues like road conditions and a few camp host interactions were noted, the overall experience is positive, making it a recommended spot for both relaxation and outdoor activities.

The campground is fairly nice and flat. There is running water and restrooms close by. I'm not sure I saw a Forest Ranger any other time than when we checked in. I'm pretty sure the restroom had not been hosed out in days by the fecal matter that was dried all over since we got there and campground rules are definitely not enforced. The campsite next to my 6 year old daughter and I had 3 drunk people in it that stayed up until 3:30am playing music, talking and getting wasted. No Ranger ever came by to say anything. Needless to say it was less than peaceful.

Green Mt. Loop is amazing place to camp. I loved it, but I wish they enforced their quiet times atleast after 12am.

Great campground, nice walk to the lake, clean, helpful staff driving the area on golf carts, temperature was perfect although early October it's getting chilly at night.

The location was great! Plenty of trees to hang a hammock. We walked down to the lake and drove to Summerhaven. Hiked the Butterfly Trail, narrow and fairly easy. Campsite was well kept. Fire pit was not cleaned up before our arrival so we experienced a lot of flying ash. Closest restroom could have been better, toilet kid was broken which did not help ventilation. We will return to Mt Lemmon but try a site further up the mountain.

Camp hosts were unorganized at the check in booth. Tried charging people in our group, over again. And charged $10 a night, per extra car, instead of $8, as said in our reservation

We went middle of the week. It was peaceful. Camp hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. Public bathroom was a bit rank.. that was our only complaint. We saw deer multiple times. Had some skunk family try to befriend us 2 nights in a row.. Overall a great trip
