My family really liked this campground. The sites are spaced out and it has flat spaces already cleared for tents. The picnic tables are clean and it has posts to hang trash off the ground. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. At the suggestion of the host, we enjoyed a hike in Christopher Creek. We will recommend this campground and plan to come again in the future.

A older campground with lots of shade, large sites and very quiet. We arrived on a Wednesday and there were few campers in our of area.We were in Oak 11.We have a 36 Motor home plus a van. There was plenty of room for us in a pull thru site.It a beautiful early early September day with low 70 temperature. The picnic area with metal table was very nice. The hosts were a very nice older couple who loved their job. They kept everything looking nice and clean .When we left on Sunday they came by to say goodbye and asked us how our stay was.We never have a camp host do this any where we have been.It was even great on Friday and Saturday when families and motorcycle groups checked in.The area has so many activities including fishing, hiking, playing in creeks,ATV trails and shopping and restaurants in Payson.

Campsites are EXTREMELY close to one another. Campground staff was extremely rude and overbearing. Dogs have to be on leashes the whole time. Would not recommend this campsite to anyone.

Very clean, friendly campground hosts. Stayed close to camp because of rain, but overall had a great time.

This is a beautiful and extremely well maintained camping experience. All of the sites are outstanding and very easy to access. It couldn’t be any better and truly exceeded our expectations. Donna the camp host was wonderful and made us feel welcome and very comfortable with our stay. We will certainly be back again !

But very great experience we had and the host that were their were very helpful, yes restrooms were a lot of bugs but we are in the forest so I did expect that. Overall great and wonderful experience.

July 2022. Quiet, with sites far enough apart that you're not too close to your neighbors. Restrooms are lit at night and clean. The hosts are great! The only thing I would suggest is more comfortable tables. They are too skinny, so there's not enough room on top and the benches are uncomfortable. I like to sit at the table a lot, but my too-big camp chair was more comfortable. All of the campsites have these same new tables, unfortunately.

Camp hosts are some of the best. Park is immaculate and pit toilets cleanest I've ever seen. Roomy sites with asphalt pads and fairly level. Love to camp here.
