Groom Creek is one of my favorite places to camp and ride. Greg, the campground host was very helpful. I needed help getting my awning set up correctly, lifting heavy bags of manure into the trash bin (it had rained so bags wee heavier than normal) and one other time to close up a foldable ladder. He is very friendly and the perfect campground host.
Trails are in great shape and my favorite spot for a 24' horse trailer is 37C. It is also close to the horse corral which I like. I can run my water hose from the trailer right to the corral, so I don't have to carry buckets of water. Site is perfectly flat as well.
