Toilet facilities were terrible. The smell was so bad, I threw up. The horse arrangements were not good. Only 1 corral that fit one horse and a high tie. My horses had never been high tied. The water situation was something to be desired. You needed 150 feet of hose to make it to the horse area. The water was entirely turned off for almost 24 hours without any notice. Had to haul water from other part of the campground. Not fun!
The riding was nice, but because of the above problems, we will never go there again.

Been to this camp many times. The amenities are excellent and the sites are clean. The vault toilets are maintained well. The only thing that would make it perfect would be water sources closer to each site, but it is dry camping -- so you expect to bring your own water. You can get water from sources throughout the camp, though, so no worries about running out if you are willing to haul it or take your trailer to refill! Hosts are always pleasant, as well.

The campground is awesome.Great sites to choose from everything is clean and the Camp Host (Joe I think) is sooo nice and so friendly. I love it I just wish I could come more often. I have met some really great people there doing what we all love and the trail riding is UNREAL. I love Groom Creek
