Great Sites, Great Hosts, Friendly Rangers ,Clean sites, and restrooms. Dog friendly, but ensure on 6 foot leash. Cell service for tmobile and verizon is limited, reserve sites in advanced. 14 day stay limit in the Prescott National forest out of 30 days. Loops c,d,e,f provide less then 10 min walk to the lake. Northshore has day use area 1/4 away with cafe, and paddle boat rentals. Southshore has day use 3/4 away with boat launch, dock and marina area to swim, fish, launch boats. Water is off atm, but Walmart, Cosco, am/pm is close for drinking water and firewood. Blue Compass rv in presoctt Valley to fill potable water, and dump grey/black. If early check/in, check with the hosts first, to ensure the site has been checked and cleaned for arrival. Fire restrictions still allow fire to be burned in usfs provided pit or grill. No personal wood or charcoal grills, though propane and electric is acceptable.
Please Extinguish fires full when nothing use, or leaving campsite. Let's all help to keep the campground a Treasure. Let's all do our part to preserve.....

We had a great weekend at Lynx Lake Campground. We stayed in G loop and our camp host was incredible. Cannot say enough great things about Lynn. She is so friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of information. We hiked down to the lake with our two kids and kayak and easily made it there and back. Great time, great memories. Bathrooms and campsites were very clean. Entire grounds are extremely well kept. We will be returning! Side note, there is a Costco as well as a gas station about 2.5 miles from the campground (very helpful if needed).

Beautiful lake and trail around it. We saw the bald eagles every morning and eve and ospreys, cormorants, one snow goose, a mandarin duck, heron and mallards.

Host was very pleasant.
The campground has various loops with about three camp sites in each one; one being a double site, so bigger and has covered picnic table. All dites with ring and rack for campsite fire.
Parking for vehicles is a bit tight with a trailer and truck.
Loop G is walking distance to launching kayak/paddle at the lake. I walked with my SUP.
The campground is beautiful with tall trees , roads are paved and bathrooms are clean.
The lake has a cafe with limited hours.
I really enjoyed my stay.

Pretty sites, just a short hike to the lake or a short ride to the trail. Lynn and Rich were fabulous camp hosts! Pit toilets were very clean for our visit, and there was hardly any trash on the ground at the campsites. Would return 10/10.

Amazing place! Simply gorgeous scenery and so peaceful!! Easy access to the lake and minutes from town. Best of both worlds. Bad cell reception however.

Campground was very clean and quiet. Sites are pretty private, we were in #22. The only problem had nothing to do with the hosts, they were very kind and helpful, but the water system was under repair so the flush toilet bathrooms were closed. They provided chemical outhouses that were well maintained.
