Great hit all categories for this campground. Pretty much off grid camping with excellent pad at every spot. Vault toilets, water per loop but no dump station.

We used our location as home base visiting all the lakes around Prescott; we liked Watson Lake the best with its “white dot” trail

Located just a couple miles from Costco and that was very handy. No hookups but fine for us as we had our own generator. The lake was beautiful and the 3 mile walk around it nice but some parts are more challenging than others. Also, the water level was high so maybe just walk on the nicer side of the lake and skip the loop. Site was level and plenty of room for our pickup and trailer. The toilets were clean and the drinking water spicket at the restroom was nice. Can’t beat the price and we stayed during the week so it was quiet. Even got to see bald eagles and eaglet flying around.

We had a very good experience at Lynx Campground in Prescott National Forest. Nice trail down to the lake. The only downside was the nearest bathroom facility was Out of Order. The last update was from sometime in June or July and thought it would be fixed by late October, no update and it was not. Just a little longer walk to next closest toilet
