Thumb Butte offers a beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained setting for group events, with easy access and ample parking. THIS IS A DAY SITE ONLY. The Thumb Butte hiking trail was great, it is easier/better if you start at going right around the loop. The site is also about 10 mins from town which is nice if you need anything.

Very good place to have a family/friends party! Separate parking area for quests!
The only thing - it was a little bit hot in July in the daytime (good in the morning or evening, but hot in the day). We wanted to go hiking but didn't risk to go as it was too hot to do it.
I think that the place is great for another months!
Please put your trash to trash bags and then throw it to dumpster.

Great place to host a picnic reunion for a large (up to 100) group. Tables under a ramada which provided protection from sun and rain, close to public restroom, ADA accessible, good parking associated with the reservation separate from other users of the park. Area was clear of debris and garbage bags out for our use before we arrived. Park host was great communicator.

Everything went great! There were no problems. Plenty of space and parking for our event bathrooms clean, refuse bin nearby.
Much thanks to the camp hosts.
