Lot 28 was perfect for us. We had a 38ft 5th wheel with us and were able to back in just fine.

We enjoyed the campground and our campsite. However, when we first arrived, about mid afternoon of our check in date, some one was in our spot. We went to find the host to see if there was an alternative space available, but couldn't find them. The campground seemed empty. There was no information at check in about which spaces were taken. The info displayed on the post by our campsite was for dates late 2022. So it was confusing, which led the person to take our space not realizing that it was reserved. Other campgrounds that we've stayed in did a good job of providing information, even if the host was absent, about what was available. It all worked out in the end, but this could have been avoided.

Fairly unimpressed with the campground. Perhaps would have been more inclined to enjoy it if the water had been turned back on and if the vault toilets had been adequately cleaned and had toilet paper. However, as we have found with many campgrounds near city limits, the campground was just not well maintained. Our site was full of trash, including a pot and a large knife near the fire ring, as well as garbage, and there were many loud campers late into the night.
The area itself was beautiful and access to the hiking trails directly from the campground was nice.

Loved the campgrounds ............ problem: the space we had was not designed for a newer pull camper .... backing in put our steps on a large rock and the camp table and pad behind us ..... would visit this campground again but be sure the assigned spot was designed for our door to open to the camp pad and table. Camp was full so no place to move to. The camp hosts were gracious in helping back in and very friendly. (-;

Reserved a camp site and found a family camped in my site when I arrived that evening. They said the board said first come first serve.

This has become one of my favorite campgrounds. Unfortunately the two times we've been there it was raining. Not a problem since we have apop up A frame! The sites do not have water or electric but there are well water pumps throughout the campground. There is decent space between your neighbors and you. We were lucky enough to have a fire the last day. They also have a large concrete picnic table but no cover so bring your own. The pine trees are beautiful! Several paths for some nice hiking too. There is an 8 mile trail to the lake. It's scenic and quiet. (As long as you're away from 89) Also restrooms are clean but no shower. We picked this site because it was a pull through not a back in. We drove to Lynx Lake which was beautiful. We did a paved trail around the lake. They also have a beach with picnic tables. Great if you like to paddleboard or kayaking. Hope you like White Spar too!

The camp sites were not as well kept as my previous stays. Bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and there was feces on the ground in that was never attended to by the camp host during our 4 night stay. However, white spar is a wonderful campground that our family loves going to. Close to town and all the amazingness of Prescott and perfect access to great hiking trails. The creek was flowing and my children had a blast. Definitely one of our top 5 favorite “paid campgrounds” in AZ. Hopefully there’s a more attentive host next time around.

Bathroom had not been cleaned, campsite had not been plowed, in fact it was dangerously icy - site should either have been closed or cared for. Realize that snow storms don't happen all the time but still...

The campground was beautiful and could easily have given it 5 stars but due to campers running generators during the night made it impossible to sleep. Ruins the whole nature experience.
