When we arrived at our reserved site at noon, it was still occupied 2 hours after the checkout time of 10 am. We had to wait another hour for the occupant to leave.

This is our 3rd stay at this campground and we just love it. Not terribly crowded, nice and clean and peaceful. Easy access to the water for fishing. Clean restrooms, nice playground for the kids.

Campsite are large and well-spaced. NO HOT WATER when we visited in mid-April 2024. The showers were soooo cold. We asked around and no one at the campground had experienced a hot shower. So, not sure when they turn that on (if at all?). There is a nice hiking path around the campground, which we also enjoyed. Other than cold showers, it was great.

The campground is well laid out- playground was a big hit for our grandson. No hot water in the shower was disappointing- restrooms and showers were clean and stocked- camp host might make more rounds to visit with campers

Sites spread out each with a table and overhead roof, dump station and water available, hiking trails around the campsites (but beware of the chollas!) camp host present. We went in February 2024, temps were perfect, not too hot daytime, not too cold nighttime. We'll be back!

Loved being secluded from the whole large campground in this little group of 5 camping spots that you have to walk to. It made the noise of generators and the RVs in general a lot less and the sounds of birds and the water more available. Got a bit lost finding the right spot because I didn't note which loop T17 was on but a camp host directed me to the correct location. Excited to stay again in the future just for the view and relaxation as there wasn't much to do nearby without a boat.
